St. ALBANS MODEL RAILROAD

The St. Albans Rail Road (STARR) is a freelanced HO scale model railroad inspired by the industrial operations of the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Reading Railroad in the mid-Twentieth Century.

The model railroad fills more than 4000 square feet of space with more than 3000 feet of track and there are more than 100 locomotives and 1000 pieces of rolling stock. Whereas the modeled era is mid-Twentieth Century, the control of the trains is strictly Twenty First Century; the railroad employs a state-of-the-art digital command control system.
